Tables

Number tables consecutively in the order cited. Provide a concise title and define abbreviations in footnotes. Do not submit tables as screenshots.

Figures

Number figures consecutively, provide a legend and ensure all labels remain readable at publication size. Authors are responsible for permission to reproduce previously published material.

Image integrity

Adjustments must not selectively enhance, obscure, move or remove information. Any substantive processing should be described in the methods.
